Music composer Palash Muchhal hit the headlines when cricketer Smriti Mandanna broke off her engagement with him in December 2025.
He is again in the news, with friend Vigyan Prakash Mane, who had earlier accused him of borrowing Rs 40 lakh and not returning it, filing a caste abuse case against him.
The caste abuse case six months aftee the purported incident—with Mane alleging Palash used offensive language in the course of their argument last November. Palash has denied all his allegations.
Palash and his sister Palak Muchhal have produced singles and songs for Bollywood films.
Palash debuted as a composer when he was teenager—he has since scored music for half a dozen films. His music video output is more prolifi—he has at least 40 to his name.
