This is for composers and producers who work on digital audio workstations such as Logic Pro and Reason.
Many testing the AI waters are frustrated by how new platforms such as Suno take over completely, depriving them of all control over their work, and leaving no room for creative satisfaction.
So what do you do if you have a track ready and you are looking for some additional shine, some spit and polish?
We asked around and this is what we found:
Landr and iZotope Ozone 11 are great if you are looking for quick mastering. They will not touch your areangement. The latter is regarded highly for its ‘industry standard’ mastering.
Landr Studio gives you beats that you can take into your DAW, but it does not work on your arrangement. You get loops, not arrangements.
Suno Studio (available in the advanced paid version) can look at your track and produce miltiple variants on the basis of your prompts. But AI becomes the boss and you become a bystander. The tracks sound quite sophisticated, by the way.
If you want to glam up your track, add fresh beats, and try out new arrangements, a paid version of Fadr is perhaps the one for you. It gives you more control than other AI platforms.
One you upload your Logic or Reason bounce, Fadr splits it into stems. The Ai can then generate drums, bass and chords for your lead vocals or instruments. You can experiment with different genres, with Fadr making arrangement suggestions in each section. Fadr charges 10 dollars a month for AI remix features, but a sale is on right now and you can get a full year for 50 dollars.
Your choice is Suno v4 Studio if ydon’t mind AI ruling over you. Subscription: 10 dollars a month for 500 songs. Caution: You don’t get stems you can tweak. And copyright remains a grey area if you release your track commercially.
Landr Studio looks like “all in one” but it offers no help in rewriting your arrangement. The subscription comes at 23.99 dollars a month.
